Seems like I’ve tried everything over the years including cake flour! But do you refrigerate the dough? Thanks for responding...the third generation tried this christmas but they still didn’t taste right. 😢
Looking for that perfect recipe for melt in your mouth pecan crescent cookies like my grandma used to make. But since I am 70, I’ve been trying for many years to duplicate them. The ingredients seem simple but I must be doing something wrong. Please help!!
I don't really love the tsunami that is Christmas in the US, but I do love cookie season. I have so many favorite cookie recipes, and would be willing to share one of my favorites that I developed myself, green tea millionaire's shortbread, but also have never found a good spritz recipe to replace the one off the back of the box containing the old spritz press that now has been lost to the sands of time.
More crunchy but a little soft, but not fluffy or poofy. Kind of solid and buttery and soft....if that makes sense? Maybe like a shortbread but a sugar cookie? Sprinkles all the way.
I'm allergic to everything made from cows' milk. As margarine is a cruel hoax, I need cookie and cake recipes made with oil, or a source for butter made from sheeps' milk.
Now, I will wonder where to find a dozen freshly-laid ducks.
I was just looking into biscochitos recipe because I was looking at official cookies of each state. And biscochitos are the official cookie of New Mexico. I'll def make them. Watch this space.

Ever tried making them with confectioners' sugar instead of granulated?

How do you feel like coconut oil in place of butter?
Hubby is allergic to coconut. We're difficult.
I need a perfect sugar cookie recipe
Tell me a little more. A soft, old-fashioned granny-like cookie? A crunchy one good with sprinkles? Or the kind you ice with fancy design? Or?
Would love to see a recipe on Biscochitos and what you can come up with that would make them different. :D
