I just encouraged somebody to vote who'd given up long ago getting her address changed to her university residence. Cross fingers she can fit it in between her experiments and having to give a presentation - otherwise she'll be lining up at 7:30pm tonight.....
Well I tested out my new ice cream machine and made salted honey custard ice cream, ready to break out in case of emergency. Otherwise choosing to binge watch Queer Eye until results are settled 😳
Your recap of the midterm shenanigans is startling when we think about the fact that's it's merely the highlight reel and there's so so much more. I've determined that I'm too big to hide under the bed (as appealing as that is) so I too will be baking as the returns come in to keep me from running out the door and screaming into the night. The neighbors wouldn't appreciate it.
The last time I chunked a chocolate bar to mix in, one of the dogs ate all of it (5.4 oz.) and THAT was a $150 vet bill. BTW In reference to your earlier column on Trader Joe's, my wife's cousin's second wife used to have a New Years Day party and everyone was asked to bring their favorite thing from Trader Joe's. May the force be with us this day.

I’m out of eggs, so if I have to bake to give myself something to do/settle my nerves it’ll be whacky cake. Warm chocolate cake; yum.
