I love the way you've introduced me to various types of flour since I come from a land of all-purpose flour. I also love Good Omens and I'm so glad that season 2 is available. I'm trying to spread out the shows instead of binging them all at once.
Holy Nutelloni! I’ll have a houseful of Nutella fiends visiting in 2 weeks! I’m sure they (and who am I kidding, this Grammy is just as much a fiend) will 🫶🏼 these cookies, so they’re now on the fam weekend menu! Will circle back with reviews which, I am confident, will be raving! 🙏🏼 so much for sharing your recipe!
Welcome to the wonderful world of hazelnut flour. I have in the works another hazelnut cookie, but also a, what we call in England, "tea loaf," aka a sweet bread, not to be confused with a sweetbread, of course...
Yum! Can’t wait to try these. Btw: have you tried Bonne Maman Chocolate Hazelnut Spred? In a class by itself...thinner consistency so imagine the recipe would need...a tad more flour?
I bought myself a jar of Agrimontana chocolate hazelnut spread for my birthday back in March and for all my love of Nutella....this is beyond anything nutella could ever be.
Thank you so much for the hazelnut flour instruction, another recipe I saw called for it but it was so expensive that I gave up on the idea, will look for nuts on next Trader Joe run!
Let me tell you about the wonders of Nutella! It's like a party in your mouth, and everyone's invited! It’s smooth, creamy, and oh-so-decadent. It's like chocolate and hazelnuts got together and had a love affair, and we are the lucky ones to taste the result!
When you crack open that jar, the aroma hits you like a delicious wave of happiness. It's like a warm hug from a long-lost friend. And the taste? Oh, it's pure magic! Imagine the finest chocolate and the most heavenly hazelnuts dancing a tango on your taste buds. It's a flavor explosion that will make your heart sing and your taste buds do the happy dance!
You can spread it on toast, and suddenly, your ordinary breakfast becomes a gourmet experience. You can slather it on pancakes or waffles, and it's like a dreamy breakfast paradise. There's more! Dip your fresh strawberries, bananas, or even pretzels into Nutella, and you've got yourself a party! It's the ultimate indulgence, and it's worth every single calorie.
But Nutella isn't just a treat for your taste buds. It's also a mood booster. When life gets tough, and you need a little pick-me-up, Nutella is there for you. It's like a little jar of happiness that can turn your frown upside down. Just a spoonful of Nutella can make the world a brighter place.
So, if you haven't experienced the wonders of Nutella yet, you're missing out on a whole lot of deliciousness. It's a celebration in a jar, and it's waiting for you! Trust me, once you try it, you'll be hooked. Nutella is pure bliss, and it's here to make your life a little sweeter, one spoonful at a time!
Not a fan of Nutella, but just recently had the time to watch Good Omens, Season 2, and wow, so freakin' good! I love all the care that goes into the visual details and developing the back story, and oh my gosh, the ending! How can I wait for Season 3?
The ingredient list cites baking soda, but the instructions call for baking powder... ??? I'm assuming soda since most chocolate chip cookie recipes use soda but clarification would be most helpful.
Thank you, ma'am. BTW, your everything chocolate chip cookies (the ones with oat/almond/whole wheat flour) are excellent, DESPITE the fact the dough must be refrigerated for 2 hours before baking. Cheers!
Yes, I watched the first episode immediately and I'll be watching one a week. That's the plan, but I'm certain after the first two I'll accelerate that plan.
Marissa, ya wanna know a secret? I've never tasted Nutella.
I can't allow you to keep living your life this way!
Har!

so glad you're trying all the new kinds of flours! and i am envious of your ability not to binge all of Season 2. Have you at least started?

Love this! LMK what they think. Gotta keep the fiends fed.
Whoa. Whoa! Hazelnut flour? That got my attention! This ad-free recipe is now on my official list

but now I'm going to look for the Bonne Maman version...if you use it, you won't need to add more flour to the recipe. It will still be fine.
It is fabulous...but not readily available down here in the deepest Deep South :-(
I look that you're celebrating chocolate chip cookie week!

hazelnut flour was 12 bucks for a bag of Bob's Red Mill at my local Shop Rite!
It was $17 on Amazon, hard pass, Trader Joe's to the rescue!!

Sorry! Yes, baking soda! Will amend. Thanks for your eagle eyes.

I love the Nasturtium! Do you know the name of the variety?
Sorry, that would've been helpful if I'd mentioned that...It's called "chameleon" and is from Park Seed, and I can't stop staring at them. https://parkseed.com/nasturtium-chameleon-seeds/p/52354-PK-P1/?trk_msg=2IUHGM3L3TSKH6KOGP37MQGNT4&trk_contact=4F0CS00JU1KE1TQM4KBQNVKBH4&trk_module=tra&trk_sid=8DNME0R50B689H0176ADMB78FO&trk_link=N7E00E615L9KL55SB3HCK3JHFO&utm_source=listrak&utm_medium=email&utm_term=Product&utm_campaign=transactional&utm_content=transactional-shipping-confirmation
