2. Super Bowl!! At our house it's always wings. If I'm feeling like it I'll make Italian hoagies — oil, vinegar and oregano — no mayo EVER!
While I do think Choose Love is a better saying, it strikes me as odd that they say this and spend two plus hours bashing and chasing each other on the field.
I’m sad. I wanted to watch because Taylor Swift is this 76 year old’s hero. I don’t really listen to her songs. I love her philanthropy. I’m boycotting because the felon will be there. I don’t want them to count me as a viewer so he can use it as hateful rhetoric.
Hubs will be watchin. I might pop in on Kendrick at halftime, but otherwise I'll be in the kitchen makin eclairs. I attempted them for the first time a coupla weeks ago & all did NOT go according to plan. lol So hopefully tonight will be my redemption. 🤞🏽
Btw, Marissa, did you watch Our Flag Means Death? It's one of my all-time favorites. It's also a Taika show. I thought I would really love WWDITS, but sadly I did not. lol I just didn't connect with it the same way I did with OFMD (and I gave it nine episodes; I really tried! 😭)

girrrrl. i was obsessed with kendrick's show. like when i say obsessed, i'm talkin bout i rewatched it eleventy kintillion times on youtube, read fifty-seven breakdowns of the whole thang, and watched eighty three reaction vids. and that was just night one. i'm still processin it. 🤣 i knew we'd get some drake beef, but as soon as i saw his dancers flood outta that car wearin red/white/blue, i thought OH HE BOUTA POP OFF ON THIS ADMINISTRATIONNNN. and baybeeee, he did not disappoint. he ate. left nary a crumb. it was flawless. no symbolism was lost on me. and serena was icing on the cake. 🙌🏽
i haven't watched it but i've seen a lotta buzz on reddit about wilderpeople, so i'll definitely check it out. thanks for the recc!

Off topic, about your bedtime cookies…is there a substitute for cherries, frozen or otherwise?
I would stick with dried fruit of some variety, whether craisins or golden raisins! Or: leave them out entirely and no one will be the wiser.
