I can't think about anything except When Will He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named-Because-He-Already-Gets-Too-Much-Attention be indicted. Maybe I just need to bake these cookies to help distract me from the eternal waiting game. An orange themed celebration if the day ever arrives is brilliant. Can't wait!

I have to make this! Is it salted or unsalted pistachios?

If you don’t mind, here are two questions, in the hope that they are not burdensome. What is the reason for using an egg and a yolk instead of (one or two) whole eggs? What adjustments would I need to make if I leave out the candy?

I have said this before - not just a cookie, an experience. Complex. Crunchy outside with the effect of toffee brittle adding to the crunch, then the chewy inside with a hint of orange, the luxury of butter, the sweet of chocolate, the salty of a pistachio. Whoa, perhaps I should lie down after that literally half. My my, Melissa, you did it again. As my Southern family would say, My Lands girl! That is Good!!!!
