In my house I currently have a box filled with over 28 pounds of different kinds of chocolate chips, wafers and bars, my fridge has 4 dozen eggs and as of this moment there are only 12 pounds of butter in my freezer.

I live in St Louis County and this week, all week, will have some nice cool, fall weather so it's definitely time to take a walk. We have a fantastic botanical garden and there's an outdoor sculpture garden near by. I'll have to walk to keep the cookie calories at bay - it's a great trade off. I can't wait until your cookbook is in pre-order.

Downloaded my county Democrat ballot, researched the judges and voted Demo up and down ballot. Now I deserve cookies, and lots of them. Pumpkin snickerdoodles will be a must. Just cleaned out my spices yesterday. Oldest expired in 2013 sad to say.
OMG!!! This post is exactly what I needed to get my fears out of the way of my ongoing life! I think I might like pumpkin snickerdoodles! Especially if they are seasoned with herbs that were harvested since Obama was president. Going shopping for fresh herbs is much more fun than perseverating about the upcoming song and dance. Oh My Heck! I know I'm in good company, but wow, it's nice to commiserate a bit -- and then get back to the work. I voted day 1. I write the postcards, attend the meetings, share the info., rally my community members, focus on hope and joy and facts. Still... my meditation, yoga, walking and writing routines are not covering the inner need. Anyone else feel like having a good cry to let it all out? Considering time and place to fit that into my calendar.
I read a facebook post from a friend today who lives in Michigan. She is so fed up with being texted, phoned, and accosted by neighbors about the election she is ready to tear up her ballot. If you are organizing these neighbor-to-neighbor actions, please understand you may be doing more harm than good. She might need a few cookies too.
Amongst the young presidents, in my opinion, there's a significant lack of hotness, but oh my gosh, Buchanan looks as if he never stopped being a baby, but just got his head stretched out a bit. Weird!
