I am making a tea party tomorrow and Indictment Cookies are just what have been missing from my menu! I am sure they will be a hit - for how good they taste and their name:))

I’m trying to come up with 30 “chips” to add to yours but I’m falling way short. Bacon, peanuts, pecans, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, coconut, raisins, dried cranberries, banana chips, dried apricots, freeze-dried strawberries (there’s likely another 5-10 freeze-dried fruits we could use)...hmmm...maybe count each color of M&Ms? I don’t think my pantry can handle all that goodness! I think I’ll go with 7 plus maybe bacon and walnuts. Gluten-free version for us. Thank you!

oh wow. bacon and walnuts. lmk how they taste. great plan. I've decided coming up with 37 chips is my bedtime distraction.

I'm delighted with the indictment. The pundits on MSNBC also seem pleased; I've never seen their hair look fluffier or their dimples deeper.

I think I'll make butterscotch cookies, as I only have one kind of chip on hand.

These look delectable! When do we get Incarceration Cookies?

These cookies, when they finally arrive, will definitely not have a file baked into them.

It took a moment before I realized you didn't mean a paper (Top Secret?) file, you meant a metal file -- to get out of prison (like in the old gangster movies)!

You can use a basic chocolate chip cookie dough and add whichever chips you can enjoy!

I decided recently that make-believe food can't give me a tummy ache, or screw up my blood sugar, so I'll enjoy whatever imaginary food comes my way, and cook real food that won't mess with my health.

Great chocolate flavor and fun to make as I thought about the reason for the recipe. I mixed the dough last night and baked them off this morning. Good call on using a bit of whole wheat flour to cut the sweetness of the assorted chips. Cookie jar is filled and packed a couple of boxes for friends I am seeing on Tuesday for Girl's Night Out.

Hallelujah!!! I'm with you Marissa. I'm having trouble getting anything done. All I want to do is pop a boatload of corn and sit in front of the tube watching MSNBC. But when I've had my fill of popcorn (a tall order!) you can bet I'm baking Indictment Cookies!

I would vote for Donald again if he was the best of the Republican candidates, and I also can’t wait to make these cookies (minus the PB and butterscotch chips)! 🤤

The cookies will be just as delicious without the PB and butterscotch chips. The chocolate dough itself will happily go with whatever you want to add to it! LMK how you like them

Is it ok to substitute raw sugar for white sugar? Or should I stick to white sugar? Thanks. Will be making tonight!!
