Made this today! It smells heavenly while baking. Delicious! Cooling now; can’t wait to have it. Question: any way to get it to “clump” so it’s easier to eat?
Sorry, just seeing this question, and totally understand what you mean when you want 'easier to eat' granola. My recommendation: Press the mixture into the pan, bake at 325 degrees for about the same amount of time...and...don't stir. Let it cool completely before breaking into clumps!
Hi, Marissa. I made the granola today and it is incredibly delicious! Thanks for this recipe; it just completely rocks. My husband asked me why, after 52 years of breakfasts together, I was moved to make granola, I told him it was because this came into my inbox at just the right time. Thank you so much. it will really improve our cereal mornings. BTW, I made the recipe before I knew to add the orange zest before baking and it didn't seem to matter that I added it after.
This comment made my week. Thank you so much! I'm so happy you are enjoying the granola...And that your husband agrees. "Cereal mornings." Love this expression.
Luckily I was going grocery shopping tomorrow so I was able to add the items I don't have to make this granola. I also made your lemon shortbread cookies from a few weeks ago and they were absolutely fantastic with my afternoon tea.
Already gathering pantry items to make the granola. And I'm the designated pecan pie baker this year. Yours will make the selection. Thank you. I am thankful for you. Happy holiday.
Recommendations for what to do if you accidentally added quick cooking oats instead of old fashioned? I can still scoop them out...haven’t mixed with oil yet.

Thank you! I shared with some others who loved it!!
I have eaten this every day since you published the recipe. EVERY. DAY. Making another batch today and ‘thank you’ is such an understatement.
You have made my day/week/year. I am so happy. And I, too, keep it in a jar on my counter too.

Curious when the orange zest is added? Before or after baking?
Sorrrrrry. It gets added before baking. I’ll amend the recipe. Thanks!
