I love the picture of your cat licking the ice cream! What those kitties get up to! I'm slammed through August 7, but I think this would make a spectacular birthday dessert for my husband—he almost deserves it, but god knows, I deserve it.
You most definitely deserve it! And let's give your husband some too...There should be enough. Unless you have cats, of course, like my greedy little buggers.
That is a good question. I’ve been meaning to make that a possibility for awhile and the rest of life has just gotten in the way. Your chiding will get me moving.
This is perfect, thank you! We have so many pluots and grapes right now I'm almost sick of eating them plain. Probably pluot and grape won't be quite the same as peach and blueberry but waste not want not :)
Marissa, what do you think about using buttermilk powder (and the necessary amount of water) instead of actual buttermilk? I use it when I make pancakes, but I have had people (i.e. my buttermilk snob sister) tell me that this is blasphemy, and only real buttermilk should be used in recipes.
My feeling is you should try it. I'm not sure how buttermilk powder works, tho, and wonder if it means your cake will be missing out on richness. Let me look into this. And if you do try it, lmk.

Why isn't there an option to print the recipe?

Love this. But what makes a buckle a buckle???
Didn’t have peaches so we used strawberries. It’s in the oven. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
Send a photo. LMK how it turns out.
No photo but it was delicious!
Fabulous!! Thank you!

I think loads of pluots would be really nice. Not really into baking grapes, unless they're similar to Concord grapes.
Thanks Marissa. I’ll have to Google Concord grapes now 😂

Perfect timing! I just took delivery of a box of peaches from the Peach Truck! This looks like a awesome dessert for me to try!
You get Peach Truck peaches? Ohhhhhh, lucky you! I haven't had one of theirs in a long time. Mmmm.
