(i just slightly updated the recipe, so if you already printed it out, you'll want to do it again, or just note that I suggest adding up to 1/3 cup sugar to the blueberries mixture if they aren't quite tasty enough, and also to add 2 teaspoons lemon or orange zest!)

That looks delicious. I recently read a fabulous book, called Weyward, by Emilia Hart, that follows a generational trail of female healers, from the 1600s to the present day, with special connections to the natural world who have run ins with men who want to control them.

A reread...The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay (Michael Chabon) ... a Pulitzer winner... historical fiction that is grounded in the US response to the Holocaust. It is profound, witty, fascinating, and important.

My summer celebrations dessert of choice is a butter-crust galette, with raspberries when available, but I can’t wait to try this! Thanks 😘

That books sounds very interesting. If you find yourself in Iceland, visit the National Museum, which has a wonderful permanent exhibit of Viking artifacts. And there was a show called “Icelandic Sagas—The Greatest Hits” which was a rapid-fire hysterical journey through the Icelandic sagas. It was fantastic.

Ooh, right now that's just a fantasy trip, but will keep the recommendation in mind. Just in case :D
