OMG! The Apple Cider Caramel Sauce sounds sooo good! I can think of a whole lot of things to use it on/in (coffee? buttermilk biscuits?) This is definitely going on my to-do list! Thanks everso!
This rings all of my bells! Cheesecake? Yes! Not too sweet? Yes! Caramel sauce? Ding, ding, ding! Apple cider for an added bonus. Maybe I'll do this for New Year's, but since every year I make vats of caramel sauce for holiday gifts, I'm going to try this version this year!
Every year, I make caramel sauce as a holiday gift, originally inspired by my sister-in-law who would be happy eating it by itself. I made a label with a "serving suggestion" showing somebody just holding up a spoon.
Yes! Deadloch is my favorite show. It gets better every time I re-watch it.
Also, yay! I read about boiled cider a couple of months ago and immediately had to try making it. My house smelled the best it's ever smelled while it was on the stove (might be worth making just for that.) So far I have used about a tablespoon of what I made. Now I'm excited to try turning it into yummy caramel.
Definitely on my "make as soon as possible list". I watched Deadloch and it's so very good, especially if you need a little bit of escapism right now. It takes place in Tanzania which is also fun.
All sounds so good. I'm hosting friends coming for Thanksgiving who don't like any sweets/desserts. How could that possibly be? What a bummer. Still have a few here (me included) who LOVE our desserts and sweets.
I made this pie for Thanksgiving. Thanks for a terrific recipe. I'm happy to have some of this amazing cider caramel left over, but it was a close call because people poured it on the regular apple pie (with their whipped cream!). I thought it was a little much.
Made triple Nutella cookies tonight substituted Noccialata (sp), which is organic) for Nutella, (which has palm oil), and sister, they are delicious. Used dark brown sugar cuz I wasn’t going back to the store, made the hazelnut flour and those are some delicious cookies. Gooey, chewy, and crisp. Decadence.
Also made bourbon pecan pie. Will not cut it till tomorrow. Used a pecan-based shell store bought cuz I got a lot more to do. Small, though. I had liquid stuff left over, as well as pecans. So I put tinfoil in a baking pan and poured it all in. Baked with the pie a while. Chocolate chips on it.
Gooey, chewy decadence. Could be useful for ice cream, or a different pie.
Apple Cider Carmel sauce will be a yes for me. I usually do a fresh apple Bundt Cake with Carmel icing . This icing is a bit heavy and rich. The ACC Sauce might be nice.

ohhhhh on biscuits.
After coffee ☕️, that was the next “ahh hah” moment! Now I just have to get some cider!
Marissa, may we have Apple Cider Caramel Sauce on EVERYTHING when I see you?!??
