This looks absolutely delicious, and if there is any way that I can toast George Santos' nuts, I will surely make it! I love everything with a slightly tart flavour!! Thanks again for all your recipes, and your slight-of-hand political take!!
I baked a cake from my past yesterday (also has orange zest, but other than that mine is much more boring--yummy to me tho) and every time I stopped the mixer to scrape down the sides (I confess to often skipping this step) I thought "Marissa says to do this in every recipe so it must be important." No more skipping the scraping!
I redid my kitchen and added an induction range/stove. I loved it! However, it (GE) kept breaking down and even the GE technicians couldn’t fix it...I spent so much time having different people look at it. That’s the problem with early adoption.
Didn’t mean to delete that comment? (On phone with tiny print). Comment was that electric is great for baking but wondered if you cook with electric. Thanks for the reply. I, myself, moved into my dream-free kitchen with a tiny electric stove and a tinier electric oven. Big house, big family and takeout in my futures. I dreamed of gas. Big gas. So when I was finally able to take the bulldozer through the kitchen, I got the biggest, hottest gas range I could find. An American with 8 burners, gril (never use), griddle (never use but pretty) and two enormous ovens that love meat and hate cookies. I guess I had it coming. Love your blog. Keep cooking’.
It’s been quite a while since I last watched Moonstruck, I think I better do that again. Sent your post to my daughter with instructions to make a love for me
Gas range and electric oven. My previous stove was a Blue Star and gas stove and oven. A gas oven was way to unreliable. TBH, if I hadn't just invested all my monies a few years ago in a Wolf stove, I'd be thinking about getting induction, which is as a reactive as gas.
Shake and Bake! That said

I hope she bakes it for you!
As for Moonstruck...LOVE that movie. I saw it on my first date with my husband and...it was a full moon that night! La Luna!
Thank you for the recipe! And for your initial statement! I do hear your eyes rolling or could it be mine?
I hope you're rolling your eyes, too! I don't want to be alone with my thoughts!

Same.
