I have gone
to England
the first time
since Covid.
so if
you were probably
wishing
for recipes
Forgive me
Recipes delicious
so sweet
will come soon.
It’s true. I’m have just arrived in England to see my in-laws for the first time since 2019. Considering they are in their mid-90s, living alone in the middle of the countryside, this visit is quite special on many levels.
I do plan to have recipes and substack reports for you on the regular so you can play along with me while I’m in England I just need a day or two to get grounded.
In the meantime, you can bake some Ted Lasso shortbread, have a cuppa (or 3) and pretend you’re in England. (Unless of course you are in England, in which case, just carry on as you were.)
You can also listen to my latest Secret Life of Cookies podcast. My guest is David Hogg, gun safety activist and a co-founder of March for Our Lives. He took a pause from lobbying Congress to make crêpes. He talked about the power of food to heal, which is all the more poignant coming from him.
Cheerio, pip-pip and all that rot.
More soonly.
